HYDRAULICALLY CONTROLLED CLUTCH
Bleeding the clutch system
A long travel and mushy feel of the clutch lever indicate that there is air in the
system and the clutch hydraulic system needs bleeding.
Bleeding procedure is as follows:
NEVER use brake fluid.

Remove screws (1), cover (2) and rubber diaphragm;

Remove the rubber gaiter (3);

Loosen the nipple (4)

Connect a hose to a syringe and fit the other end of the hose to the fitting (5)
of nipple (4);

Add the fluid specified in the LUBRICANT CHART.

Keep adding fluid until the fluid flowing out of the hole (B) on the pump body
looks CLEAR of air bubbles.
