ENGINE OVERHAUL

Cylinder to piston clearance

Cylinder diameter
Measure inside diameter (Dc) with an internal bore micrometer 10 mm below
the edge (distance "A").
Piston diameter
Measure piston diameter (Dp) 8-9 mm above skirt edge (distance "B").
Clearance is calculated as follows = Dc-Dp.
