Chapter 4: Web-Based Management
Now, you can use the Web management interface to continue the switch
management or manage the Managed Switch by Web interface. The Switch
Menu on the left of the web page let you access all the commands and statistics
the Managed Switch provides.
NOTE:
We recommend using Internet Explorer 6.0 or above to access Managed

Switch.
•
A changed IP address take effect immediately after click on the Save button,
you need to use the new IP address to access the Web interface.
•
For security reason, please change and memorize the new password after
this first setup.
•
Only enter commands in lowercase letters in the web interface.
Main Web Page
The Managed Switch provides a Web-based browser interface for configuring
and managing it. This interface allows you to access the Managed Switch using
the Web browser of your choice. This chapter describes how to use the Managed
Switch's Web browser interface to configure and manage it.
