When the specific gravity reading is low, the battery
must
be
recharged. Siow-charge the battery; do not
quick charge
it.
Remove the battery cell caps.
Charge until specific gravity reaches
1.260~
1.280.
CHARGING RATE: 2

The reading should remain stable for at least one
hour after charging.
Check electrolyte level periodically.
After charging, wash the battery with water, After
installation coat the terminals with petroleum jelly.

LEAKAGE INSPECTION
Inspect the battery voltage leakage before charging
output inspection.
Turn the ignition switch OFF. Remove the ground
cable from the battery.
Connect the voltmeter between the ground cable
and battery I-I terminal.
The voltmeter should be indicate OV when the
ignition switch off.
