12) The display changes
"FORMATTING..." indicating that for-
matting of the hard disk has begun.
It takes about 10 to 20 seconds
before the formatting com-
pletes.
Memo
Never turn off the power switch
while formatting the hard disk.
Turning off the power switch
during the formatting may
cause hard disk failure.
13) After formatting completes, the dis-
play changes "DSK FMT RESTART"
and the machine enters restarting pro-
cess.
