43. Use a marker to make alignment marks on the
reference lines (A) that align with the centers of the
r e a r s u b f r a m e m o u n t i n g b o l t s ( B ) .

44. Remove the front subframe (C).

45. Disconnect the compressor clutch connector (A),
then remove the Ay'C compressor (B)without
disconnecting the A'./C hoses.
Check that the engine/transmission is completely
free of vacuum hoses, fuel and coolant hoses, and
e l e c t r i c a l w i r i n g .
S l o w l y l o w e r t h e e n g i n e a b o u t 1 5 0 m m ( 6 i n . ) .
C h e c k o n c e a g a i n t h a t a l l h o s e s a n d w i r e s a r e
disconnected trom the engine/transmission.
Lower the engine all the way. Remove the chain
hoist from the engine.
Remove the engine from under the vehicle.
