Disconnect the cylinder rod (see step 4 on page 20-
6 ) .
Disconnect the outer handle rod (see step 5 on
page 20-6).
Disconnect the actuator connectors (A), and release
t h e i n n e r h a n d l e c a b l e ( B ) f r o m t h e d o o r b y
d e t a c h i n g t h e c a b l e c l i p ( C i .
Remove the screws, then remove the latch {A)
through the hole in the door. Take care not to bend
the outer handle rod (B), cylinder rod (C), lock rod
( D ) , a n d i n n e r h a n d l e c a b l e ( E ) .

9. Installthe latch in the reverse order of removal, and
note these rtems:
. [Vlake sure the actuator conneclors are plugged in
properly, and that each rod and cable are
connected securely.
. W h e n r e i n s t a l l i n g t h e d o o r p a n e l , m a k e s u r e t h e
plastic cover is installed properly, and is sealed
around the covers perimeter.
. M a k e s u r e t h e d o o r l o c k s a n d o p e n s p r o p e r l y .
