7 . C o a t t h e n e w o - r i n g s ( A ) w i t h c l e a n e n g i n e o l l , a n d i n s e r t t h e i n j e c t o r s ( B ) i n t o t h e f u e l r a i l ( C ) .
8 , l n s t a l l t h e i n j e c t o r c l i p { D ) .
9. Coat the injector o-rings (E)with clean engine oil.
1 0 . I n s t a l l t h e i n j e c t o r s i n t o t h e f u e l r a i l , t h e n i n s t a l l t h e f u e l r a i l i n t o t h e i n t a k e m a n i f o l d ( G ) .
1 '1. Install the fuel rail mounting nuts, ground cable. and bracket.
12. Connect the connectors to the injectors.
13. Connect the quick-connect fittings.
1 4 . T u r n t h e i g n i t i o n s w i t c h O N ( l l ) , b u t d o n o t o p e r a t e t h e s t a r t e r . A f t e r t h e f u e l p u m p r u n s f o r a b o u t 2 s e c o n d s , t h e
fuel pressure in the fuel line rises. Repeat this two or three times. then check for fuel leakage.
