Seat Adjustments
RELEASE BUTTON
The head restraints adjust for tilt and
height. You need both hands to
adjust the restraint. Do not attempt to
adjust it while driving. To adjust the
tilt, pivot the head restraint to the
desired position. To raise it, pull
upward. To lower the restraint, press
the release button and push the
restraint down.

To remove a head restraint for
cleaning or repair, pull it up as far as
it will go. Press the release button
and pull the restraint out of the seat-
back.
Driving your car without head
restraints can lead to serious
injury to you and your passen-
ger in a crash.
Make sure the head restraints
are in place and adjusted
properly before driving.
Driver's Seat Position Memory
(LS and L models)
The driver's seat includes a memory
feature. Two seat positions, for
different drivers or driving condi-
tions, can be stored in separate
memories. You can then select a
memorized position by pushing the
appropriate button.

Storing a Seat Position in the Memory

1. Turn the ignition ON. You cannot
add a new position to memory
unless the ignition is ON. You can
later recall a memorized position
with the ignition OFF or ON.
2. Use the adjustment switches on
the side of the seat to adjust it to a
comfortable position (see page
46).
