Loading the Code

There are two basic ways to load the code:
Remote: Using methods such as FTP or TFTP.
Local: Using standard methods or VioNet tools.

Updating CARGA_LAN
In the various updating process phases, you can use the protocol known as CARGA_LAN to
transfer a file towards a router through the Ethernet interface. You will find a program in the
documentation CD supplied with your router allow you to use the CARGA_LAN protocol. The
CARGA_LAN protocol permits you to transfer at speeds higher than those used by protocols using
the configuration port, reducing the time required for this.
The storage device behaves as a disk; the name used to record the transferred file via
CARGA_LAN depends on various factors:
To execute a transfer via the CARGA_LAN protocol:

Execute the CARGA_LAN program and select the file you wish to transfer (this program
permits you to consecutively transfer various files).
In the device BIOS menu, select the "l" option in the router (lower case L)

Check that LED 1 is flashing in orange and the router returns a message indicating the MAC
address to be configured in the CARGA_LAN program.

Configure the MAC address, initiate the transfer, wait and check the messages that will appear
