11.1
Troubleshooting
Problem
None of the LEDs light up
on the device.
The LAN LED does not light
up in green.
LED A remains OFF.
11.2
Testing Wi-Fi Connectivity
1.
Using a PC with embedded Wi-Fi, search for the SSID: BUSAP (or the programmed SSID ie:
BUS17).
2.
Connect to the SSID.
3.
Connect to another device that is connected to the router.
NOTE: For many installations, a RoadRunner DVR is connected to the router. Using RASPlus with
the proper IP address will confirm proper Wi-Fi functionality.
11.3
Testing Cellular Connectivity
1.
After connecting to the Wi-Fi (see previous),

Attempt to access the internet using a browser on the laptop to confirm cellular connectivity.
NOTE: If a RoadRunner DVR is connected to the router, attempt to connect to the DVR using the
assigned WWAN IP address either by:

Check the power supply to the device (power supply cable, main
power outlet).
Check that the LED after the LINK is lit up; if it isn't, check the
Ethernet cable and the network connection.
Check that the SIM card has been inserted correctly,

Check that the antenna is properly installed (screwed in correctly)

Consult technical support to ensure that the device is in the
optimum position for the service.
