Setting Alarm Events

The motion detection function is responsive, with both accurate and quick detection of
motion. However, the more cameras that use motion detection at the same time, the slower
the detection processing speed is. If multiple cameras are using motion detection
simultaneously, we recommend that each camera's motion detection be reviewed
individually during various activity periods to verify that the motion detection is performing
at the desired response level.
The HRDVS has two hardwired alarm inputs on the rear panel. For each input that is being
used, you need to set how you want the system to handle events. Alarm events can be
triggered by external alarm devices (for example, momentary switches or door contacts).
To set alarm events:

Set the alarm inputs on the Alarm Inputs screen as follows: Main Setup

contact is normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC).
