Changing User Names

Setting Permission Levels

To disable passwords for accessing the HRDVS locally, deselect the Enable user ID
field for all users.
You can change the user name to any text desired. User names can be one to eight
characters long, including the user number. The name can be a combination of uppercase
or lowercase letters, numerals, and symbols. To change a user name:
1.
On the User Permissions screen, press
Enter. The first character is highlighted.
2.
Use the
and
buttons to select the desired character.
3.
Use the
and
buttons to move to the next or previous character and repeat
4.
Repeat
step 2
and
step 3
5.
Press Enter. The User name field turns white.
6.
To change the user permission levels, proceed to the next section. To accept the
changes as displayed, press Enter to exit this screen.
You can give each user different access permissions. To change the permission levels:
1.
Use the control buttons to navigate to the desired field.
to move to the User name field, then press
until your desired changes are complete.
