Setting Alternate Timelapse or Pre-event Mode

Setting Alternate/Normal Recording Times
Set as required.
To set alternate Timelapse or Pre-event mode (on the Alternate Setup screen):
1.
In the Mode field, select Time-Lapse or Pre-Event.
2.
Select the camera(s) you wish to record.
3.
Set the Record Rate field and Compression Ratio field for all camera(s) selected.
The lower the record rate, the longer you can record video before your storage disk is
full.
The higher the compression ratio, the longer you can record video before your disk is
full but the lower the stored image quality will be.
Note
Only the alternate timelapse or pre-event video recording are affected by the
recording rate and compression ratio settings on the Alternate Setup screen.
For normal timelapse or pre-event settings, use the Timelapse Recording,
Event Recording and Pre-Event recording screens accessed from the Main
Setup screen (see
for more information on recording rate and compression ratio settings.
When the Mode field is set to Pre-event, the Audio field changes to a Length field.
