Figure 8-9
Event Mask Setup Screen, Normal Recording
Note
When the Calendar function is enabled, the Normal Event Mask Setup
overrides individual event settings For example, if you enable Motion Event 1
and then enable Normal/Alternate Mode, you must also enable Motion 1 in
the Normal Event Mask Setup for it to be enabled during Normal Mode
recording.
To save the Normal/Alternate setup, select Accept on that screen, then press Enter. The
HRDVS saves all the settings you have selected. Your alternate settings are now enabled
and you are returned to the Calendar menu.
Example
Suppose you have an office that is only open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on
weekdays. You can set the Normal recording mode for Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
During Normal recording the system uses timelapse recording and records alarm events.
On weekdays the office closes at 5:00 p.m., all employees leave the office by 5:30 p.m. and
the system ends Normal recording at 5:30 p.m. After 5:30 p.m. the HRDVS enters its
Alternate recording mode. When the system is in Alternate recording mode, the office is
supposed to be unoccupied, so it may be set to only record motion events.
In this example, we set up the HRDVS as follows:
1.
Access the Alternate Setup screen (Main Setup
