Description
Set the system time and date.
Activate a box by pressing Enter, then press
Enter to accept the value.
When you have finished entering the correct date and time, press SET to reset the
HRDVS clock.
Set the time in 12-hour (AM/PM) or 24-hour format. Use the control buttons to cycle
through the options:
24 hour clock format, 12 hour clock format (using AM/PM)
Day/month/year, month/day/year
Hour:minute:seconds
Enable or disable (default) Daylight Saving Time for your geographic location. Time
varies from one region to another. If enabled, the HRDVS automatically adjusts itself
by one hour in the Spring and one hour in the Autumn.
Options are:
North America
Europe
Australia
Note
If a user is operating the HRDVS when the change to Daylight Saving time
takes place, the time change does not take effect.
Also, if the HRDVS is recording an event at the time of the Daylight Saving
time change, recording temporarily stops, the time changes, and then the
recording begins again.
Enable or disable (default) text insertion synchronization. Must be enabled to
change the date and time fields.
Enable text insertion synchronization ONLY if you wish the HRDVS set to the date
and time used by one externally connected device.

Move to the Accept button, then press Enter to save changes and exit to the Main
Setup screen.
