Fax Operations
Performing Password Transmission
Transmission will only be possible if these passwords and those (group
passwords) that are registered for recipients match. Please use these
passwords in order that important documents are not erroneously
transmitted to the wrong recipient. These passwords need to be
configured in advance in the utility mode. For details, refer to "Password
Registration for Password Communication" on page 12-41.
Set the original in the paper feed tray or on the glass.
Press the [FAX/SCAN] key.
Touch [FAX MENU].
Touch [FAX], then touch
[PASSWORD TX].
Designate the destination.

Performing dial transmission
(See page 6-11).

Designation using the fax
program (See page 6-33).
Press the [START] key.
The Password TX designation is released once transmitted.
