2.3.1.8 RCD Tests
Turn the Instation master Switch OFF.
Connect the Instation to the mains.
Switch the Instation master Switch ON.
Plug the RCD Tester into a mains socket at the front of the Instation. Set the trip
current on the tester to 30 mA. Press the button on the tester. Check on the RCD
tester display that the RCD has tripped within 200 ms. Reset the RCD.
Set the trip current on the tester to 150 mA. Press the button on the tester. Check
on the RCD tester display that the RCD has tripped within 40 ms.
Disconnect the tester from the controller and reset the RCD.
2.3.1.9 Safety of Mains Supply at Customer Site
The customer is to ensure that the mains supply that the Instation is to be
plugged into meets the requirements of IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671).

2.3.2 Commissioning Procedure after Power Up

Switch on and check all power LEDs on the PSU and Modem PCBs are lit.
Check that the transmit LEDs (green) and receive LEDs (yellow) on the modem
PCBs illuminate correctly - see section 2.4.1.
