Connect cable 667/1/22744/000, a 14 way cable with 17 sockets, to PL5 of the
PSU PCB and to PL4 of all the Digital Output PCBs in the rack.
Connect cable 667/1/22717/000 to PL5. The other end wires into a terminal block
on the wall map PSU mounting panel, the other side of which connects to the DC
outputs of the power supply.
2.2.5.3 Wall Map PSU
Two Wall Map PSU mounting panels (667/1/22740/000 and /001) can be fitted to
the sides of the cabinet, giving a maximum of eight power supplies. Each can
supply 6 A at 24 V. There is a terminal block on each panel to connect the mains
to all the PSUs. Each Wall Map PSU (667/1/22741/000) contains another terminal
block and wires to enable wiring of low voltage power (for driving outputs) to PL5
of a number of Digital Output PCBs. The actual number of digital output PCBs will
depend on the amount of current each PCB is supplying to its outputs. See
667/CA/22741/000 and Figure 2 for wiring details.

2.2.6 PSTN Modem

If a PSTN modem (667/1/22662/000) is required this may be fitted to the back of
the hinged IMD distribution panel at the back of the Instation.

2.2.7 External Cables

2.2.7.1 Mains Cable
The mains cable to the Instation should be at least 15 Amp cable, and the plug
should be fitted with a fuse appropriate to the cable rating. The mains cable is
wired to the input of the master switch panel RCD; refer to drawing
667/GA/22603/000 for connection details.
2.2.7.2 Ethernet cable
The TC12 Ethernet Cabling must only be used to connect a UTC Traffic Control
Computer (TCC) to its associated TC12 PCs. No other equipment should be
connected to this, dedicated, TC12 Ethernet cabling.
There are three different situations for connection of the Ethernet.
(1) System with a single PC using Thinwire Cable
Fit an Ethernet cable T piece (part number 667/7/22609/007) to the UTC TCC and
Ethernet card on the PC.
Fit an Ethernet cable terminator (part number 667/7/22609/008) to the T piece on
the UTC TCC and PC.
Fit the UTC TCC to PC Ethernet cable (part number 667/7/22609/006) between
the remaining connectors on the Ethernet cable T pieces at the UTC TCC and PC.
