1.6 ERROR MESSAGE "EXITING PAPER JAM"
Check if this error message appears even if no paper Jam in the paper
exit section has been occured.

FIP, replace each component listed
below, one at a time, until the problem
disappears.
• Actuator-exit and Sensor Exit
• Actuators Exit-2L/2S and Sensor Exit-
2
• C258MAIN Board
1 ACTUATOR-EXIT AND SENSOR EXIT
• Does the Actuator-exit move
smoothly?
• Is the output level of the Sensor Exit at
CN226-2 on the C258MAIN change
when you actuate the actuator-exit?
4 ACTUATOR EXIT-2L/2S AND SENSOR
EXIT-2
• Do the Actuators Exit-2L/2S move
smoothly?
• Is the output level of the Sensor Exit 2
at CN226-5 change when you actuate
the actuator exit-2L/2S?
