Pause When a pause is needed to
allow the system to respond
after an initial set of numbers
have been dialed, press Hold to
insert a 1.5 second delay before
the remaining digits in the
sequence are dialed. For
example, press Hold between
programming a long-distance
telephone number and a calling
card number. You can insert as
many pauses as needed in the
sequence.
