The green LED next to the red LED at the tie-trunk button
goes on.
3. Dial the tie-trunk number of the station where someone is
waiting for your call.
You hear ringing.
4. When the person answers, verify that you have good two-way
communication and hang up.
5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 for each tie trunk administered.
Test The Incoming and Two-Way
Automatic-Start Tie Trunks
Follow these steps to test incoming and two-way automatic-start
tie trunks:
1. At a preset time, have someone at the far-end tie-trunk site
place a call to your telephone by dialing the proper tie-trunk
number.
You hear ringing at the telephone connected to the tie trunk,
and the green LED next to the tie-trunk button flashes.
2. Pick up the handset.
The red LED next to the tie-trunk button goes on, and the
green LED becomes steady.
