The document is not
ejected from the
machine.

jams.
Point to check
Two or more sheets of paper are
fed simultaneously.
The machine may be
malfunctioning.
The back side of the document is
being scanned.
The paper is moist.
The paper is unsuitable.
The document glass is dirty.
The document glass is dirty.
When the document is double
sided, the image on the back side
is printed through.
The paper holding roller or the
document holding pad is dirty.
The paper size is bigger than the
size of the document (when the
zoom ratio is set to 100%).
The orientation of the document
and paper are different.
