Before a workstation or server can be managed by ZENworks Linux Management, it must have the
ZENworks Agent installed and be registered in the Management Zone.
On a SLES 10 IA 64 platform, before installing or upgrading to ZENworks 7.3 IR2 Linux
Management from the earlier versions of ZENworks Linux Management, make sure to change the
security level preference from Signature to None. You can change the preference by using the
command. For more information, see
Administration
Guide. For more information on how to set the security-level preference by using
ZENworks Control Center, see
Settings"in the

NOTE: Installing the ZENworks Linux Management agent removes the previously added YaST
installation sources from the device. You can add these installation sources again after the agent
installation is complete by using either YaST or the
automatically synchronized with ZENworks in YaST if the Synchronize Changes with ZENworks
option is selected in the Installation Source pane.
