If the image of the external display connected to the port replicator has stopped, remove the computer from the port rep-
l
licator, and then reconnect it.
Disconnecting
1. Turn off the computer and close the display.
If the cable has been connected to the security slot on the side, remove the cable.
l
2. Slide the lever all the way back.
The computer's connector disengages the expansion bus connector of the port replicator.
I M P ORTANT
After sliding the lever, do not suddenly release it. The lever may relock. Do not slide the lever while pressing the
l
computer from above. Doing so could damage the computer.
If the computer malfunctions while the port replicator is attached, disconnect the port replicator and check to see
l
if the computer operates normally. If the computer operates normally, the port replicator may be malfunctioning.
Contact Panasonic Technical Support.
3. Lift up the computer to remove it from the port replicator.
NOTE
If it is difficult to disconnect the computer, push the lever while holding the computer from top for easy disconnection.
