Installing Transport Brackets on Solara 3G (TRBKTS)

This kit (TRBKTS) includes four wheelchair transport brackets. TRBKTS has not been crash‐tested in accordance with WC
19. Invacare recommends that these transport brackets be used only to secure an unoccupied wheelchair during transport.
As of this date, the Department of Transportation has not approved any tie‐down systems for transportation of a user while
in a wheelchair, in a moving vehicle of any type. It is Invacare's position that users of wheelchairs should be transferred into
appropriate seating in vehicles for transportation and use be made of the restraints made available by the auto industry.
Invacare cannot and does not recommend any wheelchair transportation system.

Remove Existing Hardware

NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 16.1 on page 141.
12-16 Inch Deep Seat Frames
1. Remove the mounting screw, washer, spacer and locknut that secures the roller to the rocker tube.
2. Repeat STEPS 1 for remaining side of wheelchair.
15-19 inch deep and 18-22 inch deep seat frames
1. Remove the mounting screw, washer, spacer and locknut that secures the roller to the rocker tube (Detail "A").
2. Remove the mounting screw and locknut that secures the seat frame to the rocker tube (Detail "B").
3. Repeat STEPS 1‐2 for opposite side of the wheelchair.
