Center of Gravity (COG)

NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 7.7.
NOTE: Center of gravity adjustment is only available on 15‐19 inch deep seat frames and 18‐22 inch deep seat frames. Center of gravity
adjustment is not available on 12 ‐ 16 inch deep seat frames.
1. Review Detail "A" and the following instructions to understand the available COG mounting hole positions:
• FRONT SETTING ‐ Track tube mounted in the bottom hole of the COG mounting bracket and the seat frame
mounted in the top hole of the rocker tube.
• MID SETTING ‐ Track tube mounted in the middle hole of the COG mounting bracket and the seat frame mounted
in the middle hole of the rocker tube.
• REAR SETTING ‐ Track tube mounted in the top hole of the COG mounting bracket and the seat frame mounted
in the bottom hole of the rocker tube.
2. Remove the front riggings. Refer to the owner's manual, p/n 1154295.
3. Remove the mounting screw and locknut that secures the track tube to the COG mounting bracket.
4. Repeat STEP 1 for opposite side of wheelchair.
5. Secure the track tube in the desired mounting position determined in STEP 1 with mounting screw, bushing, two
washers, and locknut. Tighten securely.
6. Repeat STEP 5 for remaining track tube.
7. Remove the mounting screw and washer that secures the seat frame to the rocker tube.
8. Secure the rocker tube in the desired mounting position determined in STEP 1 with mounting screw and washer.
Tighten securely.
9. Repeat STEP 8 for remaining rocker tube.
