This paragraph briefly describes the models and accessories used
with a STU 111/SECTEL. The STU 111/SECTEL and accessories are
available in three colors: Shadow White, Burgundy, and Brown.
See the paragraph below, Ordering Information, for model
numbers.
• The ST(] 111/SECTEL 1000, (Type I), provides secure voice/
data transmission of U.S. Government classified information
into an existing telephone network.
• The ST(] IIl/SECTEL 2000, (Type II), provides secure voice/
data transmission of "sensitive," but unclassified information
into an existing telephone network.
• The Crypto Ignition Key (KSD·64A) allows the Type I or Type
II
STU 111/SECTEL's to transmit and receive secure voice or data
communication when inserted in both terminals. It is standard
with all models.
• The Power Converter allows a terminal to be operated with
115/230 Vac at 47-63 Hz. It is standard with all models.
• The Wall Mounting Bracket Assembly is an option that
includes a mounting bracket and the necessary hardware to
mount the terminal on a wall.
• The Handset with coiled cord (unique to STU 111/SECTEL)
allows voice communication to take place between users.
• The Telephone Line Cord provides the interface between the
telephone company's telephone jack wall plate and the STU Ill/
SECTEL. It contains the conductors for receiving and
transmitting voice and data communications. Available in RJ-11
(4-conductor) and RJ-45_(6-conductor) configurations.
• The RS449·to·RS232C Connector Adapter is the hardware
interface between the terminal's RS449 37-pin connector and a
computer terminal's RS232C 25-pin DTE connector.
