The STU 111/SECTEL Family

There are two levels of security offered with the STU 111/SECTEL
family. The STU 111/SECTEL 1000 terminal is a U.S.
Government - approved device designed for protection of
"sensitive" or classified information. The STU 111/SECTEL 2000
terminal is U.S. Government·approved for unclassified but
"sensitive" communications, providing the highest level of
security commerically available. Figure l ·2 shows the STU Ill/
SECTEL family. Refer to Chapter 9, Models and Accessories, for
more information on the available models.
Phone Line Interface
Phone line connection is made by an industry standard RJ 11 C
modular phone jack. An optional RJ45S connection is also
available.
