The single line STU 111/SECTEL is a basic desk-top telephone
providing secure voice and data communications. A crypto
ignition key (CIK) activates the SECURE feature of this telephone
terminal. For data transmission, a computer terminal interfaces to
the telephone terminal through the RS449 interface port located
on the back panel. An accessory RS449-to-RS232C adapter
(5DGA 71 AA) is needed for an RS232C connection. The STU Ill/
SECTEL is connected to the telephone line by an RJ 11 C modular
line cord. Power is supplied by a stand-alone power converter.
