Automatically repeats the last dialing sequence
entered.
Enters and exits program mode allowing access to
such features as memory dial keys, software
parameters, data mode configuration, security
setup parameters, and other user-definable
features.
Cancels any current procedure while the handset
is off-hook, and any active programming while the
handset is on-hook.
Enters a user defined time delay (1 to 9 seconds),
into any dialing sequence.
Sends a precisely timed flash signal to access
special telephone (PBX) functins.
Increases the volume of the ringer when the
handset is on·hook, or increases the volume of the
handset earpiece when the handset is off-hook.
Decreases the volume of the ringer when the
handset is on-hook.or decreases the volume of the
handset earpiece when the handset is off-hook.

Introduction
The message display (Figure 2-4) shows all the numeric keypad
entries, messages, and prompts used to operate the terminal. The
message display consists of alphanumerics and annunciators.

The alphanumeric portion is located in the center of the message
display and is divided into two rows of 16 characters each. This
