4.2.2 Configure the Ethernet Connection

This procedure describes how to configure a broadband connection (WAN connection)
on the network side of the device to connect users' services (including data, voice, and
video services) to an external network through routing or bridging.
Steps
1. On the main page of the ZTE H1600, select Internet > WAN > Ethernet to open the
Ethernet Connection page, see

Description
The IP address of the upstream gateway device connected to
the ZTE H1600.
IPv6 address of the DNS server for static connections. You can
set up to three IPv6 addresses for the server. These IPv6 ad-
dresses are provided by the ISP.
Make sure the IP address is sole.
Specifies whether to carry a VLAN tag in the packets sent over
the WAN connection. By default, On button is not selected. If it
is selected, a VLAN tag is carried in the packets sent over the
WAN connection, and the VLAN ID must be set.
Specify the 802.1p value to modify the service priority.The de-
fault configuration is 0,and it supports 1-7.
Identifies a VLAN. Range: 0-4094. To ensure normal service op-
eration, the VLAN ID must be the same as that set in upper-lay-
er MDU/DSLAM configuration.
