Setting WEP

WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) is an encryption tool you can use to improve
security of your wireless LAN. WEP provides encryption between the
BayStack PC card and the BayStack Access Point. This encryption is transparent
to network data transfers WEP employs a standard algorithm (RSA-RC4 per the
IEEE 802.11 standard). The key length is 40 bits and is exportable. You can
choose to:
Encrypt the authentication sequence between the wireless LAN and the
Access Points.
Encrypt the data packets exchanged between the wireless LAN and the
Access Points.
Encrypt both.(by enabling the first two encryption parameters)
Note: Performance of the wireless LAN, as shown in packet throughput, is
reduced when WEP is enabled for data packets.
