Using the BayStack 650 Wireless LAN Access Point
After the network drivers have been loaded, users can access a network because
the BayStack 650 Wireless LAN technology is compatible with existing LAN
applications and network operating systems. Users always have network access if:
• They are within range of a BayStack 650 Access Point.
• The BayStack 650 PC Card in the access point and the BayStack 650 PC Card
in the laptop computer are configured with the same SSID.
• The users are on the Access Control List, an optional security feature, of the
access point.
• WEP settings are compatible.
