Component Access / Removal
Lower Light Strip Access and Removal
(Model ICB424 Starting with Serial #3100000)
NOTE:
Prior to Serial number 3100000, there was no
lower light strip in this model
The lower light strip is captivated in the channel of the
light strip housing, which attached to the control panel
assembly.
To remove the lower light strip, first remove the control
panel assembly, then
(See Figure 6-15A):
1. Slide light housing off of control panel assembly.
2. Slide light strip out of channel.
Compartment Thermistors (Model ICB424)
The upper compartment thermistor: is attached to
the left side wall with a screw. The thermistor electrical
leads are routed through a wire grommet that is in a
key-hole slot in the left side of the evaporator cover.
(See Figure 6-16)
The lower compartment thermistor: is attached to
the left side wall with a screw. The thermistor electrical
leads are routed through a wire grommet that is in a
key-hole slot in the left side of the left-hand support
cover.
(See Figure 6-17)
NOTE:
On newer models the thermistor is hard-wired
to the control board, so it will be necessary to cut the
thermistor wires to remove it.
