Internal Web Page

This section introduces using the internal web page to monitor and operate the
DTP2 R 212, including:
The switcher can be configured through its LAN port, connected via a LAN or WAN, using
a web browser. This chapter describes the factory installed HTML pages, which are always
available and cannot be erased or overwritten.

Connect the switcher to a LAN network using the rear panel RJ‑45 LAN port (see
figure 3,
on page 7).

Open a web browser on a connected PC.
Enter the DTP2 R 212 IP address in the browser Address field.
NOTE: If the local system administrators have not changed the value, the factory
specified default is 192.168.254.254.
Press the <Enter> key on the keyboard.
The switcher checks to see if it is password protected.
If the switcher is password protected, enter the username (admin or user) and
password in the appropriate fields when prompted (see figure 36).
If the switcher is not password protected, the web page opens (see
page 54).
NOTE: The factory configured passwords for all accounts on this device have
been set to the device serial number. In the event of a complete system reset, the
passwords convert to the default, which is extron.
