Calibrating the Ceiling Microphone Arrays

Polycom, Inc.
You must calibrate the Ceiling Microphone Arrays if TIP support is required.
In order for camera segment switching to work properly, before you begin the
Ceiling Microphone calibration procedure, ensure that:
The Ceiling Microphone Arrays have been installed according to the
instructions in the
page 3-4.
Ambient noise is at the lowest level possible.
The chairs are at their proper locations around the ATX table.
You can move your laptop to each of the seat locations around at the table.
Note that the screens in the following section show the ATX 300 system. The
calibration instructions for the ATX 200 and ATX 400 are the same, except that
the tables shown in the ATX 200 and ATX 400 screens are different.
To calibrate the Ceiling Microphone Arrays:
Log into the Polycom HDX web UI.

Go to Diagnostics > System Log > System Log Settings.

In the Log Level field, select DEBUG and click Update.

Make sure that the Telepresence Tool is launched on the laptop.

Enter the IP addresses of the codecs and enter the passwords (if needed),

and then click Connect All to connect to the codecs.
Click the Audio tab.
