Reusing media that has been fed through the printer (for example, after

jams) can reduce the life of the consumables and paper path components.
When printing legal size using the multi-purpose tray, backside marking may
occur. If this occurs, use the legal cassette.

1. Set the media thickness switch (see "Setting media thickness switch:" on
page 2-11).
2. Open the Multipurpose tray (1). Extend the media support by sliding it outward
