Printer component:
Color imaging unit
a. These figures are based on an average of 5% coverage of the printable area
and standard density for any one color (refer to Example A below left:
Monochrome 5% coverage). 4 colors (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black) are
used for full color print. The frequency of replacement will vary, depending
on the complexity of the prints and the percentage of coverage of each color
and print density.
b. The starter cartridges that ship with the printer have an average life of
approximately 3,000 pages, based on an average of 5% coverage.
