BATTERY INSPECTION
1. Lift up the shroud.
2. Unhook the latch 1.
3. Loosen the joint clamp screws 1.
4. Disconnect:
• Oil cut valve outlet hose 1
5. Lift up the air filter case, disconnect the crank-
case breather hose 2 from the air filter case.

6. Unhook the battery band 1 and then remove
the battery cover 2.

7. Disconnect:
• Battery leads

CAUTION:
First, disconnect the negative battery lead 1,
then the positive battery lead 2.
8. Remove:
• Battery
