HOW TO PROGRAM THE TAD ONLY TO ANSWER
The sub-menu for the announce only function is used for changing OGM#1 so that callers cannot leave
messages.
Basically, the TAD acts as an answering machine only and the OGM #1 is handled as though it were OGM
#2. The difference lies in the fact that OGM #2 is only played when the TAD cannot receive any more
messages (memory full) or FAX/TEL RX mode is active, while OGM #1, recorded as an announce only
message, is played in response to all incoming calls.

The display shows the initial operating mode: automatic reception.
1.
Press FUNCTION until the "TAD SET-UP" menu appears.

Press START.
The display shows the message that prompts you to play OGM
#1.

Press FUNCTION until the outgoing message only sub-menu
appears on the display.

Press START.
The display shows the first value available. Use the < / > keys to
scroll through the values cyclically. The No value enables you to
exit immediately from the procedure if you decide not to record
the message.
The example assumes that the value YES is selected.
5.
Press START.
The display shows the message that prompts you to play the
message. If a message is played, it is the current OGM #1.
6.
Press START.
The display shows the message that prompts you to start
recording.
7.
Press START and start recording your message. You have 20
seconds to record it and the time is indicated on the display.
