Connecting power cords
Use these procedures to connect the power cords to an 5105-22E, IBM Power System L922 (9008-22L),
IBM Power System S922 (9009-22A and 9009-22G), IBM Power System H922 (9223-22H), IBM Power
System H922S (9223-22S), IBM Power System S914 (9009-41A and 9009-41G), IBM Power System
S924 (9009-42A and 9009-42G), IBM Power System H924 (9223-42H), or IBM Power System H924S
(9223-42S) server.
Connecting the power cords to the 5105-22E, 9008-22L, 9009-22A, 9009-22G, 9223-22H, or
9223-22S system
Use this procedure to connect the power cords to the 5105-22E, IBM Power System L922 (9008-22L),
IBM Power System S922 (9009-22A and 9009-22G), IBM Power System H922 (9223-22H), or IBM
Power System H922S (9223-22S) server.
Procedure
1. If applicable, open the rack door at the rear of the system unit that you are servicing.
2. Using your labels, reconnect the power cords (A) to the system unit.
Fasten the power cords to the system using the hook-and-loop fasteners (B) as shown in Figure 56 on
page 80.

3. Close the rack door at the rear of the system.
