Installing the front cover and front door on a stand-alone 9009-41A or 9009-41G system
Use this procedure to install the front cover and front door on a stand-alone IBM Power System S914
(9009-41A or 9009-41G) server to access components or perform service.
About this task
To install the front cover and front door, complete the following steps.
Procedure
Install the front covers by completing the following steps.
a) Ensure that you have the electrostatic discharge (ESD) wrist strap on and that the ESD clip is plugged
into a ground jack or connected to an unpainted metal surface. If not, do so now.
b) Align the cover until the two cover tabs (A) are seated into the slots on the base plate (B) as shown in
Figure 15 on page 30.
