break-in reception occurs, the volume
does not change to the preset break-in
level. It remains at the current level.

! Manual preset
1. Press the "AM" or "FM" selection
button to select FM1, FM2, FM3, MW or
LW reception.
2. Press either of the tuning buttons
briefly until the frequency of the desired
station is displayed.
3. Press one of the preset buttons for at
least 2 seconds to store the frequency.
The frequency of the preset number will
flash once on the display at this time. If the
button is pressed for less than 2 seconds,
the preceding selection will remain in the
memory.
NOTE
If the connection between the radio and
battery is broken for any reason such
as vehicle maintenance or radio re-
moval, all stations stored to the preset
buttons are cleared. If this occurs, it is
necessary to preset the desired sta-
tions again.
! Preset scan
The radio receives each memorized pre-
set station (frequency) for 10 seconds. To
start a preset scan, press the "SCAN"
