this time. If the button is pressed for less
than 2 seconds, the preceding selection
will remain in the memory.
NOTE
If the connection between the radio and
battery is broken for any reason such
as vehicle maintenance or radio re-
moval, all stations stored to the preset
buttons are cleared. If this occurs, it is
necessary to preset the desired sta-
tions again.
! Preset scan
The radio receives each memorized pre-
set station (frequency) for 10 seconds. To
start a preset scan, press the "SCAN"
button during radio reception. To stop the
preset scan, press the "RPT" button again.
! Selecting preset stations
Presetting a station with a preset button
allows you to later select that station in a
single operation. Up to six FM1, FM2,
FM3, MW and LW stations each can be
preset.
