Before removing the heat sink, follow these steps:

Prepare the computer for disassembly (see

NOTE:
The heat sink is spared with the system board. Take care when removing this module as it can be
easily damaged.
Remove the heat sink:
1.
Disconnect the fan cable from the system board (1).
2.
In the order indicated on the heat sink, remove the four captive Phillips M1.4 × 1.6 screws (2) that secure
the heat sink to the computer.
NOTE:
taken when removing to avoid bending the module.

Use a tool to release the heat sink from the system board (3).
