    Display assembly The display is only spared at the subcomponent level. The full hinge-up is not spared. Before removing the display assembly, follow these steps: Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
  • Page 60 CAUTION: Top avoid damaging the display, be sure to only run the tool in one direction. Use a tool at each hinge to pry up on the display to help disengage it (2).   • Page 61 Disconnect the display cable from the back of the display panel by lifting the tape that secures the cable in the connector (2), and then pull the cable out of the connector (3). The display cable is available using spare part number 809576-001. To remove the webcam module: NOTE: The webcam is available using spare part number 807542-001.
  • Page 62 Disconnect the cable (2) from the module. To remove the display hinges: NOTE: The display hinges are available using spare part number 807525-001. Position the display enclosure upright. Remove the Phillips PM2.0×2.5 screw (1) from the top of each hinge and the four broadhead Phillips PM2.5×3.0 screws (2) from the bottom of each hinge that secure the hinges to the display.
