5 Remote Control
Users can program and control spectrum analyzer by
standard SCPI (Standard Commands for Programmable
Instruments) Command. Please refer to Programming
Manual of this product for details of commands and
programming.
Users also can use upper computer software SA Remote
Control provided by Uni-Trend Technology (China) Limited
to send commands for remote control over spectrum analyzer.
This spectrum analyzer communicates with PC through
instrument bus, such as USB, LAN. This chapter introduces
how to use upper computer software SARemoteControl
provided by our Company for remote control over spectrum
analyzer through various interfaces in details.
5.1 By USB
1. Connect equipment
Connect spectrum analyzer with your PC through USB
remote control.
2. Install USB driver
After correct connection between spectrum analyzer and PC
and start-up (spectrum analyzer automatically configures
USB interface), dialog box of hardware update wizard pops
up in the computer. Please install "USB DEVICE" driver
according to wizard.
3. Check equipment resource
Searched resource and USB interface information will
appear in "NI-VISA USB Devices" directory, as shown in
the following:
