position. Move active frequency marker by knob, stepping
key or number keys. If two frequency markers exist, directly
press [Frequency marker difference]. However, if [
Frequency marker difference] is already activated, press
[Difference] to place static frequency marker to the
position of active frequency marker. Difference of
amplitude is displayed in unit dB, or converted to linear
unit based on corresponding proportion.
Notes:
If active marker exists currently, activate a reference marker
at current marker. Otherwise, activate reference marker
and difference marker at center frequency at the same time.
The position of reference marker is fixed (including X
and Y), but position of difference marker can be changed
by knob, direction keys and number key.
Difference of frequency (or time) and difference of
amplitude between two markers are displayed in the upper
right of screen.
Two methods to define certain point as reference point:
a) Open a "normal" marker, get it positioned at one point,
and then switch marker type as "difference". By this way,
such point becomes reference point. Difference measurement
can be realized by changing position of difference point.
b) Open a "difference" marker, get difference marker
positioned at one point, and re-select "difference" menu.
By this way, reference marker is positioned at this point.
Difference measurement can be realized by changing
position of difference point .

Close currently open marker and disable its related functions.
Frequency marker is not displayed any longer.
3.3.9.6 [All off]
Close all open markers and disable their related
functions. Frequency markers are not displayed any
longer.
3.3.9.7 [Frequency marker list On Off]
Display all open markers in the form of list in frequency
division window. Contents displayed include marker
number, marked trace number, reading types, frequency
and corresponding amplitude of marker. Measurement
values of many measurement points can be viewed by
frequency marker list.
