Connect the SCSI cable for the hard disk to the connector of the SCSI interface board as

shown in the illustration. When connecting the cable, support the SCSI board from the
bottom and avoid excessive force on the board. Also, set the SCSI board's terminator
switch to OFF at this time.
Connect the SCSI interface board to the hard disk.

Connect the free end of the flat SCSI cable (connected to the SCSI interface board) to
the connector on the hard disk. The connectors are notched to ensure that you connect
in the right direction.
8. Using the red/white cable (hard disk power supply cable), connect the hard
disk to the A3000.
Begin by connecting one end of the 4-wire red/white cable (hard disk power supply
cable) to the connector on the hard disk.
